An angelic race

• Physical appearances

  The Cii'va, when spotted by humans, are often mistaken for Angels. However, there are some distinct differences that can be noticed in their appearance. For starters, All of the Cii'va have silvery grey hair. Also, Cii'va do not have a thick or muscular build. Whereas some male angels may be muscled, and huge in stature, the Cii'va (both males and females) have a slender and smaller build, ranging from around 5,2" to 5,7". Their bodies are slender and elegant, befitting their role as inspiring and hope-giving.
  
  Looking to more details, the Cii'va all have (aside from the usual eye colors) a blue glow in their eye color. Also, their pointy ears are slightly longer than your average angel. If one were to inspect cii'va's teeth, they would discover that they have 38 teeth instead of the human 32.

• History of the ancients

  No-one knows exactly when the Cii'va came to be. However, their history and where they came from is clearly written down and recorded in the history of man-kind.
  About five-hundred years ago, in 325 BC, there was a demon overlord named Abaddon incredibly active in the underworld. The overworld inhabitants had no idea what he was up to for a long time - all of their scouts sent into the pits of hell were converted into Fallen angels and turned against god's chosen. Two years later, in 14 BC, Abaddon's intent became clear when an earthquake opened a large rupture throughout central-europe. Demons and hellspwan creeped out from the deepest circles of hell with only one mission; to destroy and devour.
  
  Being heavily outnumbered, man-kind was quickly being overrun and on the verge of extinction even before the angelic lords could mount an assault against the demonic hordes of Abbadon. When they did however, it was still not enough. The Angels were outnumbered and far less powerful than the huge demon lords. Therefore, Archangels Gabriel and Michael created a new race: The Cii'va - literally translated as "Angel's descendants". These angel-like humanoids were far more vast in numbers than the angels themselves and could combat the demonic hordes on equal footing. For days straight, they fought hellspawn both in the field and in the air in order to protect the earth from being overrun. They used swords, shields, bows and magic to keep the hordes at bay.
  
  Finally, on the 99th day, Abbadon himself came forth. Many Cii'va perished that day and the next, before a charge led by a wounded Gabriel managed to bring down the overlord, and capture him in divine chains, binding him to an eternal prison. This prison is now being guarded by the Cii'va, as it became their sacred duty after the demonic wars.
  In co-operation with the angels, the Cii'va hunted down the remaining hellspawn that had escaped the battle, and still continue to do so. Demons and hellbeasts often break through the veil between hell and earth, and it then befalls the Cii'va to counter them as best as possible.
